About Dr. Lewis & the Elite Dental Team

Dr. Tom Lewis was born and raised in the Omaha area. He is a graduate of Mt. Michael Benedictine High School in Elkhorn, the University of Nebraska, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree, and the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Lewis has practiced dentistry since 1995, and opened his practice in Omaha in 1997. After practicing at the previous 108th and Q St. location for eight years, Dr. Lewis built his "dream office" in 2005 at the current location when the practice name became Elite Dental. He very much enjoys providing quality preventative, cosmetic and restorative dentistry in a beautiful and friendly environment. He is also a part-time clinical instructor at Creighton University where he enjoys the interaction with the students, and has won awards for Outstanding Clinical Instructor of the Year.

Dr. Lewis is a member of the Omaha District Dental Society, the Nebraska Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He is also a member of numerous civic organizations. Dr. Lewis is married to his wife, Tonya and has three children, Jake, Morgan, and Tyler. In his free time he enjoys watching and coaching his children's sports and activities. Dr. Lewis is also a dedicated runner having run 25 marathons, including several Boston Marathons.

Jodi, FT Hygienist
Jodi was born and raised in Henderson, Iowa. In 2008 she graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene and has been practicing in Omaha since then. She loves her dog, Cheese, and her cat, Mac. In her free time Jodi likes to run, scrapbook, cook, plan vacations and support the Huskers! She is very excited to be another friendly face here at Elite Dental.

Susie, Schedule and Financial Coordinator
Susie has been in the dental field since 2004 and is also a certified dental assistant. Susie and her husband Chad have two children, Dominic and Mary. In her free time Susie enjoys spending time with her family. We love her infectious smiles!

Amber, PT Hygienist
Amber is from Rogers, Nebraska. She graduated in 2000 from Central Community College in Hastings, NE with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. After graduation Amber spent seven years in Denver, Colorado. She moved home to Nebraska in 2007 to be closer to family and friends. She looks forward to helping all of her patients. In her spare time Amber enjoys yoga and cycling classes.

Cheryl, Dental Assistant
Cheryl has been working in the dental profession for 15 years (seven years in our office). An Omaha native, she enjoys getting to know Elite's wonderful patients. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two yellow labs.
